Gadget News - BlackBerry Messenger Coming to Android?

The BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) has always been the prime feature in any BlackBerry handset, which allows messaging between BB users via the BlackBerry PIN system. But recent leaked images posted on TechnoBuffalo show the private messaging service being run through Android.
The pics, according to the source, were supposedly taken by an RIM employee. It shows off the BBM for Android app running on a developer phone. Apart from the application’s icon and account interface, nothing much can be seen from the photos.
The photos can either be an elaborate hoax or Research In Motion does have plans to bring the BBM into Android.
Not wanting to be left out like it did when iPhone and Android become the “it” smartphones, Nokia is said to be contemplating in to partnering up with Monster Cable–whose sub-brand Beats Audio already forged a partnership with HTC–to boost its phones’ audio features.  According to leaked images that appeared earlier today, Nokia and Monster may have a pair of headphones for smartphones on their sleeves. The accessory, dubbed Nokia Purity HD Stereo Headset, features an electric blue pair of portable cans that seem to be wire-free. It is most likely that the Purity HD will connect to media via Bluetooth, but it is also most likely that these press shots are hiding the wires somewhere.  Not much details are available as of this posting, but we are sure to hear (or not) about this at the upcoming Nokia World.  Coming up with a pair of Nokia headset from Monster is a gamble for the Finnish mobile phone company. But Nokia fans, who are used to the company’s range of low- and mid-priced phones, may not embrace an (expectedly) overpriced pair of headphones.  http://celebritycombo.blogspot.com/
