You really have to hand it to Tokyoflash for turning the boring task of telling time into a confusing, brain-squeezing activity with its complex ways of determining the time of day. The tradition continues with this Tron-inspired wristwatch called the Kisai Seven.
This watch takes its design cues from the classic sci-fi film from Disney, consisting of just two pulsing LED rings (available in blue and white) that are reminiscent of “identity discs,” the movie’s weapon of choice. The rings can be customized by three animation pre-sets.
The Tokyoflash Kisai Seven is now available at its online store and you need to buy quick. That’s because the company offers a special two-day sale (ending October 27) wherein the watch can be yours for only $99 and after that it is back to its original $139 price tag.

Not wanting to be left out like it did when iPhone and Android become the “it” smartphones, Nokia is said to be contemplating in to partnering up with Monster Cable–whose sub-brand Beats Audio already forged a partnership with HTC–to boost its phones’ audio features. According to leaked images that appeared earlier today, Nokia and Monster may have a pair of headphones for smartphones on their sleeves. The accessory, dubbed Nokia Purity HD Stereo Headset, features an electric blue pair of portable cans that seem to be wire-free. It is most likely that the Purity HD will connect to media via Bluetooth, but it is also most likely that these press shots are hiding the wires somewhere. Not much details are available as of this posting, but we are sure to hear (or not) about this at the upcoming Nokia World. Coming up with a pair of Nokia headset from Monster is a gamble for the Finnish mobile phone company. But Nokia fans, who are used to the company’s range of low- and mid-priced phones, may not embrace an (expectedly) overpriced pair of headphones. http://celebritycombo.blogspot.com/

The bundle will hit Japan on December 10 for ¥21,000 (US$274). You can also purchase for that game alone, bundled with the bulky Nintendo 3DS Slide Pad, will cost a ¥6,975 (US$91).

We may have different opinions about the late Steve Jobs. Some see him as someone who created expensive products made cheaply in factories where workers’ rights were abused; while others look up to him as the man who revolutionized computer technology. Whichever your opinions about Jobs may be, we cannot argue the fact that he led a life of perseverance and the success that came from it, not to mention the legacy he left.
Jobs was born in San Francisco out of wedlock and was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, California. He learned later in life about his biological parents after hiring a private detective to track them down: Abdulfattah John Jandali is a Syrian Muslim immigrant to the United States and currently a vice president of a hotel-casino in Reno Nevada, while Joanne Schieble (later Simpson), is a speech language pathologist. Although Simpson’s parents did not approve of her marrying a Syrian, which Jandali claimed was the cause of putting Steve up for adoption, the two eventually married and produced Job’s biological sister, novelist Mona Simpson whom he enjoyed a close relationship since they met as adults in 1986. Jobs never contacted Jandali and never discussed openly about him.
While Jobs was in high school, he frequently attended after-school lectures at the Hewlett-Packard Company in Palo Alto, California. He, along with friend Steve Wozniak, was later hired in HP as a summer employee. In 1972, Jobs enrolled at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Although he dropped out after just one semester, Jobs continued auditing classes at Reed, which means he never received grades or credit. Jobs returned to California in the fall of 1974 and began attending meetings of the Homebrew Computer Club with Wozniak. He worked as a technician at Atari, which at the time produced popular video games, with an intent to save enough money for a spritual retreat to India. He was able to make the trip and came back as a Buddhist.
On April Fool’s Day 1976, Jobs and Wozniak founded Apple Computer after they created a new computer circuit board. A third co-founder, Ronald Wayne, left the company after less than two weeks. Their first product, the Apple I computer, went on sale that summer for $666.66. A year later, Apple was incorporate by its founders and a group of venture capitalists. The company then unveiled Apple II, the first personal computer with color graphics. It became so successful, Apple’s revenue reached $1 million.
Job’s relationship with painter Chrisann Brennan bore a daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs, in 1978. Jobs denied paternity, claiming he was sterile. Lisa was raised on welfare for two years, but was later acknowledge by Jobs as his daughter. She grew up to become a graduate of Harvard University and work as a writer.
Jobs visited the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) in 1979 and saw the commercial potetial of its mouse-drive graphical user interface, which led to the creation of the Macintosh. A year later, Apple went public and was able to raise $110 million, making it one of the biggest initial public offerings yet. Apple then reached its first billion in revenue in 1982.
Apple unveiled the Lisa computer in 1983 with much fanfare, only to be pulled off the shelves two years later. It was also this year when Jobs lured John Sculley away from Pepsico Inc. to serve as Apple’s CEO, where Jobs famously asked: “Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?” The first Macintosh computer went on sale in 1984 with an iconic commercial inspired from the novel “1984″ shown during the Super Bowl.
Life was not all roses in Apple during the mid-1980s. An industry-wide sales slump during 1984 caused a deterioration in Job’s working relationship with Sculley, which caused an internal power struggle and significant layoffs because of disappointing sales. At the end of May 1985, Sculley fired Jobs from his duties as head of the Macintosh division. Wozniak also resigns from Apple that year.

While there are now several ways available to charge up those portable devices. But most of them usually require an AC power source to do so. The craziness that is the $99 HP TouchPad has died down and users are wondering whether they could port the tablet with Android. As much as webOS being a critically-acclaimed OS, the fact remains that not a lot can be done there.
There have been several attempts to get Android up and running on the TouchPad, but a recent post in PreCentral (which is dedicated to Palm and webOS devices) shows how to make Android run in the TouchPad like an actual app. Interested TouchPad user candownload and install the test IPK file to the tablet, but do not expect it to be flawless as this method is a test for now. You can also check out how it is done in this YouTube clip.
Several tics are noticeable when switching between homescreens or trying to play back YouTube videos. There are also issues in audio and multi-touch, as well as a power off issue that requires a hard reset

The BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) has always been the prime feature in any BlackBerry handset, which allows messaging between BB users via the BlackBerry PIN system. But recent leaked images posted on TechnoBuffalo show the private messaging service being run through Android.
The pics, according to the source, were supposedly taken by an RIM employee. It shows off the BBM for Android app running on a developer phone. Apart from the application’s icon and account interface, nothing much can be seen from the photos.
The photos can either be an elaborate hoax or Research In Motion does have plans to bring the BBM into Android.

- Windows XP / Vista. (Vista SP1 is recommended)

Love for Sail! was the first Larry game since the third to pick up immediately where its predecessor left off; typically, it features Larry getting dumped by the woman who represented the ultimate goal of Larry 6, Shamara.
The formula was much the same as the previous games: the "twist" was that Larry was a passenger on a cruise ship populated by parodies of famous people. Among the other cruise guests were "Drew Baringmore" (Drew Barrymore), "Dewmi Moore" (Demi Moore), "Victorian Principles" (Victoria Principal), "Jamie Lee Coitus" (Jamie Lee Curtis), "Nailmi" and "Wydoncha Jugg" (Naomi and Wynonna Judd) and "Annette Boning" (Annette Bening). Various other pop icons were parodied in the background, such as the Archie Comics gang playing nude volleyball, various incarnations of James Bond in the ship's casino, a Sierra staffer dressed as Sailor Moon, and porn icon Ron Jeremy walking around naked. Most of the male supporting cast (Peter the Purser, Johnson the bartender, ~censored~ the guardrobe attendant, Wang the galley server, Bob Bitt the artist) are named after popular euphemisms for the male reproductive organ or are in some way related to it (Bob Bitt, for instance, is named after John Wayne Bobbitt; the character also shares the same first name and bears a passing resemblance to fellow artist Bob Ross).
The plot revolves around Larry's attempt at winning a weekly contest held on the ship by Captain Thygh, a gorgeous blonde. The contest involves a series of other games varying from legitimate sports competitions like bowling to naughtier things like a machine created to test one's sexual prowess. Each passenger is given a score card with a selection of the various competitions to compete in, and the passenger with the highest cumulative score at the end of the week wins. The prize is an additional free week on the cruise spent sharing the Captain's cabin (and, presumably, her bed.)
The player must come up with a variety of ways to cheat in each of Larry's assigned competitions so that he can get the highest score and win the contest. Among Larry's chosen competitions are a cooking contest, a "best dressed" contest, a game of horseshoes, bowling, the sexual prowess contest and others. At times Larry wins these contests not by cheating but only by an unexpected twist of fate triggered by his (often unintentional) actions. For instance, Larry's encounter with fashion designer Jamie Lee Coitus causes his Leisure Suit to become the height of fashion; as such he wins the best dressed competition.
It was also the first Larry game to include a full-fledged minigame (not counting the casino games in the earlier installments, which were essential to the plot): by collecting hidden red-and-white-striped dildos (Where's Dildo?, a pun on Where's Waldo?), the player could unlock high quality pin-up desktop wallpapers of the ladies in the game (the images are simply Windows BMP files stored in the Drivers subdirectory of the game under misleading Memory1.drv ... Memory8.drv names; they can be opened with any graphics program).
